Biography

Kenneth Moden

Welcome to Shady Lea Productions !

Video and audio production represents the core of the day at Shady Lea Productions. The name “Shady Lea” speaks of a Norman Rockwell purity and traditionalism that we attempt to preserve in many of our productions. It literally means a shady, grassland pasture, which we use for sitting, thinking, fellowship, and creating. It is also the name of the Shady Lea Mill district which is listed on the National Register of Historic Places in Washington County Rhode Island. The mill now houses businesses who have operated from there since the repurposing the mill in the 1990s.  We have also had friendly relations with some of those business owners.

Shady Lea Productions has emerged from focused efforts of telling stories of ordinary people doing extraordinary things in life and in turn impacting our culture and changing our world. We also put great emphasis on exposing and displaying Nature's amazing features and creatures that are part of our home called "Earth".

Capturing snippets of lives, accomplishments, and Nature's amazing balance is a great reward in association with producing audio and video. As a musician, multi-instrumentalist, and composer, my own music reflects these  extraordinary stories.

As various forms of media continue to expand and influence across the globe, the need for audio/video capture, scripting, and editing has escalated. These have become compulsory tools for effectiveness in modern day commerce. Ongoing study of humanity and various forms of communication allows me to bring creativity and diversity into your productions with a competent and panoramic approach. Working through the conception, sculpting and completion of a story is a unique merging of our interests and has become the keystone for ongoing vocational and academic efforts.
